Waveguide Tuners



Microwave Techniques manufactures waveguide tuners for high-power RF and microwave applications. These devices are available in probe, stub, and E-H tuner configurations.

Units are manual or motorized in operation. For high power operation, we utilize non-contacting, single or double bucket short circuit designs. In addition, we also offer low power versions utilizing contacting short circuit designs.

  • Average power is based upon unpressurized painted aluminum waveguide, internal surface finish of 63µm, under free convective cooling with an operating temperature that is 25oC above ambient temperature. Cooling options should be considered if the waveguide will be operating at higher average power levels - please consult factory.
