Waveguide Twists
By Waveguide Component Type
Microwave Techniques manufactures waveguide twists for high-power RF and microwave applications, available in several configurations and design types.
We recommend the use of twists when mechanical system packaging requires a change in the plane of polarization. Our compact three-step twist exhibits a VSWR less than 1.05:1 over a 10% bandwidth. Lower VSWR’s or increased bandwidth can be realized by utilizing a five-step twist.
Twist angles of 30°, 45°, 60° are also available. Continuous or smooth twists are available in the smaller waveguide sizes. All units come in right-hand (RH) or left-hand (LH) twist versions.
If you do not see the specific waveguide twist you require, contact sales@microwavetech.com to discuss your exact product requirements with a technical sales engineer.
